We install your door in the most efficient manner possible allowing for years of uninterrupted service. General Door Service A garage door doesn't need to be broken to require service. In fact, periodic service prevents many potential repairs, disruption, energy loss, and/or ultimate door replacement. General maintaince of your door may include: Lube & Oil: Chains need lubrication. Some running wheels need to be oiled. Springs, especially when exposed to the elements, may need treatment. Electrical: Most newer garage controller units have back-up power supplies to assist in the event of power failure. Just like other batteries, these need to be serviced (and occasionally replaced.) Furthermore, remote-control units need battery attention. Alignment: The materials used to build structures (e.g. trusses, joists, headers, etc.) settle over time. This may cause your garage door to be misaligned. This condition may not be noticeable at first; however, it will become very evident causing over-wear of the entire implementation which may result in broken springs, crumpled panels, and track degradation. Safety: It is extremely important to retro-fit an older door with a "seeing eye" electronic device to avoid potential damage and bodily injury. Furthermore, doors already equipped with these sensors should be periodically checked to ensure proper alignment and operating conditions. General Door Repairs Many problems can occur with your garage door. From electrical problems with the controller unit, to actual door crumpling from sagging joists and headers.
